The room was absolutely disgusting, with peeling wallpaper and moldy grout. The mattress even had blood on it, suggesting bedbugs. The staff's interrogative behavior added to the unease we felt during our brief stay.

We recently stayed for 2 nights in a King Room, and I have to say, the room was clean and had a nice flat-screen TV. Unfortunately, the shower had no hot water, which was a big letdown.

It was just a suitable option for a short visit in Southampton with value for money. The location was really convenient, easy access to nearby stores and places to eat. Be prepared for some loud noise if there are groups staying next door.
